In commemoration of the 8th March, the Palau Ducal has programmed a series of activities to make visible and vindicate the role of women in History and Art.

On 6 March at 7 p.m., the second edition of FEMART will be inaugurated in the Carròs i Centelles hall. A collective exhibition that brings together 40 women artists under the age of 40, in the Carròs and Centelles rooms of the Palau and in the Casa de la Cultura. The exhibition can be visited until 7 April during the Palau’s opening hours.

This year’s special programme for March includes two talks. The first will be on the 7th at 19:00 by the historian Santiago La Parra, who will talk about “LAS MORISCAS DE LOS BORJA”. On 12 March at the same time, we will have the pleasure of talking to Professor Isabel Morant and Professor Verónica Zaragoza about “THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN HISTORY”. Both talks will be held in the Crown Hall of the Ducal Palace, with free admission.
