Portrait of Saint Francis of Borja
It was the oratory of the fourth Duke of Gandia. It was formerly thought that it was built before saint Francis as the original paving dates from the 14th century. The engraved painting on the walls represent the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary and are Filippo Paolo da San Leocadio’s work.

The chapel design is quite ostentatious as it has been renovated on many occasions during the 19th century, in particular by the brother Coronas who restored the paintings and protected them with glass.

The ceiling was covered with varied types of marble and some tondos of ceramics with copper gleam, which represent angels. The paving was decorated with carpet made of exotic wood.
